Penstemon xylus
Native to the Tushar Mountains of Utah, Tushar bluemat penstemon is a tough and tiny penstemon. It has bluish-lavender flowers from June to July and steel-blue foliage. It's happy in gritty soils full sun and xeric conditions. Its size makes it idea for rock, trough or crevice gardens where the evergreen foliage is an added bonus.
