Bright purple daisies completely cover the trim mat of rich green leaves from late April to midsummer. With deadheading, it blooms sparingly until frost. A dazzling wild flower from the summits of the Drakensberg Mountains in South Africa. Perennial.

Tips from the pros: Not well suited to areas that are frequently irrigated, in poorly drained soils, and in soils highly amended with organic materials. Deadhead spent flowers periodically to keep plants attractive.
