UNDAUNTED® Ruby muhly grass
Muhlenbergia reverchonii 'PUND01S'

UNDAUNTED® Ruby muhly grass is a selection of long-lived grass brought from the southern Great Plains by Lauren Springer and Scott Ogden. Late in the summer, graceful, fine-textured, gray-green mounds are topped with clouds of tiny, ruby flowers. These clouds glow when backlit in autumn light. Persistent winter beauty. Superb in mass plantings. Also a great solution for accents and erosion control.

Tips from the pros: Very easy. Site where seed heads will be backlit by the sun if possible. Will grow in sandy soil but will need regular watering and growth will be slower.
