WINDWALKER® big bluestem
Andropogon gerardii 'PWIN01S'

A regal, upright ornamental grass selected for its powdery blue foliage that turns plum/purple in September when burgundy plumes wave high in the air. Columnar form makes it ideal for both residential and commercial applications. Beautiful planted in combination with SONORAN SUNSET® Agastache, Russian sage or VERMILION BLUFFS® Mexican sage. Selected by Sunscapes Nursery.
Tips from the pros: Big bluestem should be cut back to about 3" in mid-spring or as soon as new growth appears. Divide every 3-4 years or when the center of the grass clumps starts to die out.
