Dry Gardens Deserve Showstoppers Too
Add these plants to your grow lists and retail shelves!
Drought doesn’t have to mean dull. Every year, the nonprofit, Plant Select®, introduces a knockout line-up of water-wise plants for western landscapes. Check out a few of the beauties below.
If you’re interested in helping us turn heads, not sprinklers, let’s chat about how you can become a Plant Select licensed grower or retailer. Call Ross Shrigley at (970) 481-3429 or director@plantselect.org.

What is Plant Select?
Plant Select is a nonprofit collaboration between Denver Botanic Gardens, Colorado State University and professional horticulturists across the country (including growers, garden centers and botanic gardens). We find, test and introduce exceptional plants for the high plains and intermountain regions, including native plants, native cultivars and well-adapted plants.
